SIRMIONE

A commune of the Brescia province in northern Italy, Sirmione has a historical center situated on a peninsula which divides the lower section of Lake Garda. Sirmione is a charming commune which does its best to maintain its idyllic atmosphere. Almost no automobiles are permitted beyond the city’s gates, and those that are required to have their lights doused at traffic lights. It's a great place to just stroll around, plus there are underwater hot springs which provide excellent swimming conditions, and the hotel terraces are perfect for taking in the sun.
